   The manor in Dobříš is a prominent example of French Baroque architecture. The spacious manor was built gradually starting in the 17th century, with substantial extension taking place under earl P.J. Mansfeld between 1745 and 1765. Around the manor extends an ornamental park with a number of statues, a water cascade and an orangery, behind which is a romantic landscaped park.

 

   In the south wing one finds eleven rooms decorated in late Baroque, Rococo and Classicism styles. There is an outstanding main hall with rich stucco decoration and frescos depicting the four seasons of the year by Jan P. Molitor.
