The manor Rájec nad Svitavou, a beautiful building unusual in Moravia, can be found in the area
of the Moravian caves, north of Blansko. New two story building with a yard of honor covered by
a attic roof in the style of Luis XVI was built in 1763 - 1759. The final project was made by
architect A. I. Canevale from Vienna. The owners of Rájec, the counts from Salmu (later dukes)
created their residence from this manor.

The representational rooms at the ground floor of the main building of the manor from
the last quarter of the 19th century have been practically preserved, these however
were partly a result of the original state from the end of the 18th century. A picture
gallery of the family of Salm has been installed on the first floor of the manor in the
50's which contains mostly works of Dutch and Flemish masters.
