The basis of the present manor was formed by a Baroque building from 1676 - 1690 built for
František Karel Liebštejn from Kolovrat. The manor was adapted to the present shape before
1722, probably according to the design of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl.
There is an important picture gallery of the family of Kolovrat in the interior of
the manor illuminated by Venetian chandeliers and furnished by contemporary furniture.
This very rich collection contains not only the portraits of the Kolovrats and their
relatives but also other Czech and European personalities as well as a numerous
collection of paintings with other themes, especially still life. There is also a
remarkable library.
