   The original castle of the princes of Těšín from the 10th century was at the end of 16th century rebuilt into a Renaissance manor, which also went through many later adaptations. Nowadays the Beskydy Regional Museum is situated here with permanent exhibitions rendering comprehensive pictures of life in this region and an exhibition representing Frýdek as a former important pilgrimage place for Northern Moravia.
