The Šliks built a small castle at the site of a stronghold around 1480; this castle was by way of radical Renaissance adaptation extended to a manor with corner rounded towers. The late Renaissance building was destroyed when it was besieged several times during the Thirty Year's War. In 1663 Jan H. Nostic started restoring the manor which was reconstructed again in 1805.
At present there is a museum in the manor displaying exhibitions of nature and history of the region of Sokolov, development of ore and coal mining and alternating exhibitions of modern art.
